Brief Biography

Kelly Peters, MA has completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology at LaSalle University. Kelly has been working with young people with autism for over five years and has developed her skills with this and other populations. Kelly's experiences include working as a teacher's aid, work with children at home as a TSS worker, and extensive work in private therapy settings developing play skills, social skills and general emotional well being for children and adolescents. She has recently begun to research how anxiety affects individuals with autism. Kelly provides individual and group therapy to children ages 2 years and up.

Description

This workshop will teach participants how to create ready to play narratives and tools to develop play skills in young people. This can be modified for a variety of play levels and customized for any area of interest or motivation.
