The author of the play wishes to say that the character of Joe Weejo, the locale, and several of the incidents in LUCKY FOR ME are derived from the Colliers short story, "The Worm That Eats Its Tail," by Joe Coogan (La Salle '49). In the staging of the play, he wants to record his appreciation for the help of Miss Claire Winkler and Mrs. Teddy Marie Handfield.
