Producer's Corner

Hello and welcome to The Masque's production of Almost, Maine. I hope you are bundled up and ready to face the harsh winter winds of northern Maine. A light snowfall is expected to fall in the Dan Rodden this evening. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights as our cast falls in and out of love right before your eyes. The Masque is happy to close our 2013-2014 season on a bitter cold but sweet note.

Almost, Maine granted us the amazing opportunity to work with Ben Smallen. This is the first time we have worked with Ben and he has brought us nothing but smiles and brilliant ideas. Ben's theatrical knowledge and experience has brought new technique to our stage. He has worked diligently with the cast and crew to make our picturesque visions of the town of Almost come to life. We are grateful for Ben's dedication, creativity, flexibility, and countless hours of work that he has put into this production.

Our gratitude and admiration go out to all of those who have made this production possible; Administrative Services, University Advancement, the Dean of Students Office, Physical Facilities, the Student Programming Center, University of the Arts, and Multimedia Services. The Executive Board of the Masque would like to personally thank our beloved advisor Dawn Wanner, for her support, dedication and pride in this production.

Thank you for joining us and enjoy the show!
