Description
Sarah (here shown in her wedding dress) married John Wister in 1864 and lived at “Belfield” from 1892 to 1922. Sarah was a member of a choir that sang in Gettysburg as part of the dedication ceremony on November 19, 1863, that featured Lincoln’s famous Address.
