Brief Biography

Donna Tonrey, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is the Director of the Master's Program in Clinical Counseling Psychology, which includes a master's in Professional Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program at La Salle University. Dr. Tonrey is currently the Chair of the PA State Board for Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors and has served on the board since 2004. She remains clinically active and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, providing clinical supervision for therapists.

Description

This workshop will focus on the importance of helping families attend to the needs of the family and all its members while facing the challenges of autism. The experience of each family member will be discussed and healthy family functioning and maintaining family identity will be addressed.
