Brief Biography
Robert Naseef, Ph.D., is a psychologist and father of an adult son with autism. Robert is the author of several books including Autism in the Family: The Autism and Asperger’s Handbook (2012) and Special Children, Challenged Parents: The Struggles and Rewards of Parenting a Child with a Disability (1996). He has lectured internationally and appeared on radio and television. In 2008, he was honored by Variety, the Children’s Charity for his outstanding contributions to the autism community.
Description
This workshop explores the male perspective to parenting a child with autism. How do men, especially when having a son with ASD, deal with a problem they cannot fix? The father of an adult child with autism, Dr. Naseef provides compassion and understanding for men and strategies for developing support.
